
This is a self-initiated spec spot for the burgeoning Canadian distillery, Maverick, who create the insanely great TAG Vodka.
It was made as a side project, directing, shooting, editing, animating and compositing it entirely on my own. This was shot on location in High Park, Toronto, Canada, all on a Canon D70 DSLR during one rainy afternoon.
Chasing Madoff is the compelling story of Harry Markopolos and his team of investigator’s ten-year struggle to expose the harrowing truth behind the infamous Madoff scandal. Throughout the decade long investigation, Markopolos pieced together a chain of white-collar predators consisting of bankers, lieutenants, and henchmen, all linked to the devastating Ponzi scheme. With risk and danger apparent, Markopolos and his loyal team relentlessly continued to pursue the frightening truth. Finding himself trapped in a web of epic deceit, the once unassuming Boston securities analyst turned vigilante investigator now feared for his life and the safety of his family, as he discovered no one would listen.
I shot the film, contributed heavily to it’s development as well as designing and delivering over 300 motion graphic and VFX shots.
A series of 12 spots for Bell Aliant’s launch of their Fibre network. I designed all the vfx, and backends, as well as completing the online colour correction.
I created a new show package for Doc Production’s Intervention Canada, a rebrand of A&E’s popular Intervention reality series. This is the opener, additionally bumpers, lower thirds, name plates, and photo montages were created.
A short film made for Saatchi & Saatchi’s campaign to raise public understanding of Tourettes. Made with the co-operation of the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada. Part of the atrandom project.

A not-at-all official music video for Heads Will Role by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It’s a re-edit of my short film “The Dance of Death co-produced with the National Film Board of Canada.
I designed, animated, and shot both the show open, and interstitial graphics for this HGTV series Design DNA. Each episode included three :8 second ‘exploded views’ of watershed design products. These sequences were delivered in a method that could be replicated over 40 times.
A :15 for Parmalat’s new Biobest yogurt drink for which I designed and composited the graphics on the T-shirt as well as the back-end.
An experimental short film experimenting in fluid dynamics as well as an awesome photo shot… what reason? No reason.
Retro! is meant to simulate 2, or 3 stripe film treatment processes of yester-year. I did a little test shoot, intentionally badly keyed, and applied the filer witch you can view above. Retro! works with Nuke, a compositing package by The Foundry. I’ve made the plugin freely available here.
